Save the Children
Our 2010 Holiday Charity was done in the name of Save the Children.
Save the Children is the world’s leading independent organization for children. Our vision is a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation. Our mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
Not only did we raise some funds to help the cause…we also participated in the Caps For Good Drive. Save the Children and the Warm Up America! Foundation asked us to pick up our knitting needles and crochet hooks to help save the lives of newborn babies in the developing world.
And we did…
Alexander’s fans stepped up to the challenge once again and proved we could help make a difference…
Many folks from around the globe volunteered their supplies, their time and wonderful talents to produce some of the most adorable little creations I have ever laid my eyes on…
I am truly touched and honored to say that I’m part of such a wonderful group of people!!
