Gustaf was interviewed in A-Sexan magazine…he shares a little bit about working with his big brother Alexander Skarsgard…
I AM A LITTLE ODD
In Puss, Gustaf Skarsgård plays a hardcover theater technician with a weakness for Japanese literature.
– I like to play in more films together with Alexander, he says.
Gustaf Skarsgård went to stage school in 2003. Four years later he received a Guldbagge for Best Actor in the film Suburban Kids.
The Invisible, Evil, Arn – The Knight, Arn – The Kingdom at Road’s End and Patrik 1.5 are other films he has participated in over the years.
But now here he is a theater technician in Johan Kling’s Puss.
– It is a fun character, “he says. A little odd.
But I had to work pretty hard to keep credibility degree.
What makes you accept a role?
– There is some sort of gut feeling. Often, the character, director, story, type in that order. This was partly thanks to Johan Kling. I liked Darling very much.
What was it like playing in the same film as the big brother?
– Sorry, we have no scenes together. There was just no time we were there at the same time. I like to play in more films together with Alexander. It’s just fun.
